Jude Update

Sunny posted an update with a pic of Jude in the hospital on her blog.  (iwouldchooseyou.blogspot.com)

They are going to wait for a couple of weeks before deciding if they need to go ahead with the skin grafts.  He needs to recover from the bronchitis first.  Prayerfully there will be no need for the skin grafts at that time.

It looks like he might be discharged from the hospital sometime next week.

So here are some specific prayer points that Sunny mentioned.

Continued healing and the bronchitis to be gone.

Health and endurance for Jude's foster mom.

For his foster sister to be accepted into college. (A very big deal there.)

For I 600 approval. (Specific adoption paperwork to clear!)

Update-

Jude's surgery has been postponed because of Bronchitis.  Thanks prayer warriors.

Hi friends-

Many of you all know Micah and Sunny Kersh are adopting a sweet baby boy named Jude.  He recently suffered third degree burns  to his arm and hand.  He is still in Korea and is scheduled to have a skin graft surgery Thursday (Wednesday our time.)

The bible tells us in James 5:16 that "the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."(ESV)

I want to have a prayer vigil for baby Jude.  Just sign up for a 30 minute slot and we will cover this sweet baby and the Kersh family in prayer.  More than one person can sign up for each slot. Let's try to cover all the slots!!!   Just respond by leaving a comment.

1. For Jude not to be experiencing pain.
2. For his foster mother to be comforted, encouraged, and given strength
3. For Eastern (agency in Korea) to get clear answers and direction
4. For every medical person that will be having a hand in Jude's recovery
